Mr. Edgeworth and Trucy are here, too. According to Mr. Wright, there's also a few people I haven't met before.

[There's a pause as Klavier's words sink in.]

"As usual"... that must mean you already know Athena back home. [He grumbles.] Is everyone from home ahead of me?

[He hesitates now, a little uncharacteristic for him when he's usually so determined to move along.]

...Mr. Wright made it sound like a lot of terrible things happened in the year I'm missing.

I suppose not. [Part of him's sort of relieved that Klavier doesn't seem in the mood to discuss whatever traumatic thing happens later on.

And now there's another longer pause, which is not suspicious in anyway. At all.]

Yeah, they had a few suggestions.

[If Klavier's thinking that will fluster Apollo into coughing up the information, he's sadly mistaken. It's actually too bad Klavier can't see the smirk on Apollo's face right now, though he can probably imagine it with the smug tone he takes on just now.]

The defense would like to point out that the prosecution has no idea which apartment is his right now. Can't go around ringing the doorbell at 1AM if you don't have the address, can you?

You're kidding. [HONESTLY...Apollo wouldn't even put it past him.]

Isn't that borderline illegal?

[If Apollo was the type to throw up his hands in exasperation, he would do so now. Grumpily, he coughs up the information--most of it, anyway.]

Joining the police force was one of my suggestions, too. And something about sweater modeling.

[Purposely leaving out the "nerdy" part, of course. There's no way he's making it that easy for Klavier.]

None yet. [POINTEDLY ignoring that laugh, thank you very much.]

The police force seems the most reasonable. I guess I should accept that one before our free months run out. [A pause, then he adds, softly, and unexpectedly open:] It's no attorney position, but it's somewhat familiar, at least.

I'll admit, it's a little fishy knowing that they don't want outside help in the legal department.

[There's a moment of silence, and then--]

You already accepted the job on the police force, didn't you? What's it like so far?
