[There's a short, exasperated exhale of breath on Apollo's end.]

If you're picking up the phone, I guess that means you're doing alright.

[AKA hi, this is your friendly neighbor check up.]

We're trapped in a faraway colony--as data, I should add--with no way to restore our homes in the near future.

I can't be the only one thinking we should try to look out for the people we know.

Mr. Edgeworth and Trucy are here, too. According to Mr. Wright, there's also a few people I haven't met before.

[There's a pause as Klavier's words sink in.]

"As usual"... that must mean you already know Athena back home. [He grumbles.] Is everyone from home ahead of me?

[He hesitates now, a little uncharacteristic for him when he's usually so determined to move along.]

...Mr. Wright made it sound like a lot of terrible things happened in the year I'm missing.

I suppose not. [Part of him's sort of relieved that Klavier doesn't seem in the mood to discuss whatever traumatic thing happens later on.

And now there's another longer pause, which is not suspicious in anyway. At all.]

Yeah, they had a few suggestions.

[personal profile] pollygrapher 2015-12-03 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
[If Klavier's thinking that will fluster Apollo into coughing up the information, he's sadly mistaken. It's actually too bad Klavier can't see the smirk on Apollo's face right now, though he can probably imagine it with the smug tone he takes on just now.]

The defense would like to point out that the prosecution has no idea which apartment is his right now. Can't go around ringing the doorbell at 1AM if you don't have the address, can you?

[personal profile] pollygrapher 2015-12-04 05:15 pm (UTC)(link)
You're kidding. [HONESTLY...Apollo wouldn't even put it past him.]

Isn't that borderline illegal?
pollygrapher: (47)

[personal profile] pollygrapher 2015-12-10 05:29 pm (UTC)(link)
[If Apollo was the type to throw up his hands in exasperation, he would do so now. Grumpily, he coughs up the information--most of it, anyway.]

Joining the police force was one of my suggestions, too. And something about sweater modeling.

[Purposely leaving out the "nerdy" part, of course. There's no way he's making it that easy for Klavier.]

None yet. [POINTEDLY ignoring that laugh, thank you very much.]

The police force seems the most reasonable. I guess I should accept that one before our free months run out. [A pause, then he adds, softly, and unexpectedly open:] It's no attorney position, but it's somewhat familiar, at least.

I'll admit, it's a little fishy knowing that they don't want outside help in the legal department.

[There's a moment of silence, and then--]

You already accepted the job on the police force, didn't you? What's it like so far?

Mr Gavin!! Status report ASAP!

And if you want some food, I made dinner, so please feel free to come over!
psycholawgy: (who you gonna call?!)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-02-22 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
[ the door slides open, and there's athena welcoming him, a spatula on her hand. ]

I'm making dessert right now. Cookies!
psycholawgy: (therapy session totally worked!)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-02-23 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Just butter biscuits. I'm still practising, after all.

[ SHE'S NOT A VERY GOOD COOK, sorry, klavier. ]

And I have to. It's what Mister Wright taught me.
psycholawgy: (viva!)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-02-24 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
That's Apollo, alright! He's sure learned a lot from Mister Wright even though he's only been working for a two years!

[ athena, why do you sound so happy... you're more of a novice than apollo is. ]

Anyway, just sit tight [ she brings out a plateful of spaghetti with meatballs (really giant meatballs, too) and serves it on the dining table. ] and eat up!
psycholawgy: (goddess of the moon is artemis)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-02-25 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
[ she blinks once. twice. and then it sinks in.

there's something wrong with klavier—especially when apollo is brought up. ]

I did.

[ she looks him over, wondering if she should ask.

of course she should. she's nosy as hell. ]

Are you okay, Mister Gavin?
psycholawgy: (attorney at law and psychology)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-02-25 11:57 am (UTC)(link)
I asked because I can hear some discord in your heart.

[ she cants her head and looks at him straight in the eye. ]

You can tell me.
psycholawgy: (so the boyfriend is the prosecution's...)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-02-28 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
Did something happen between you and Apollo?
psycholawgy: (attorney at law and psychology)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-02-29 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
[ ah... here we go. ]

Did you want something to happen between the two of you?
psycholawgy: (but who cares about that bish?)

[personal profile] psycholawgy 2016-03-02 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
[ from the other side of the table, athena reaches for klavier's hand and squeezes it. ]

Like what Apollo says, it'll be fine, alright? He'll come back, and you can tell him what you've always wanted to tell him.
